Before seeing the monks collecting their supplies, we went for a browse around the local food market. This also happens every morning, with locals coming from the surrounding villages to sell their produce - we managed to find everything on our list for dinner that evening... live frogs, fresh veg, crabs, moles, eels, bags of animal blood, a pigs head skin, wasp grubs and a bottle of snake and insect whisky to wash it down with. Mmmmm....
